Named after the spiked shoes mountain climbers wear in icy conditions, the Canfield Crampon Ultimate Pedals are super-thin platform pedals that provide maximum grip, even in the roughest terrain. The Crampon Ultimate Pedals feature the same profile as the Crampon Mountain Pedals but in a smaller, 105mm x 105mm platform which also cuts the weight by over 50 grams. The Ultimate Pedals have a convex pedal profile and 6mm leading edges for a low-profile and thin platform. Nine pins on each side of the pedal provide an excellent grip and the pins are replaceable for convenience. The Crampon Pedals feature a chromoly axle for durability and hybrid-sealed bearings and DU bushings so the pedals will stay working smoothly for many miles to come.
